I have gambled on millions of rounds of vingt-et-un. I started sneaking into the gambling halls when I was 16. I have wagered on online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short while. Given all that I have still lost a lot of cash at blackjack. The gambling halls have made it nearly impossible to defeat the house.
I still like the game and gamble on a regular basis. Over the years I have enjoyed a type of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get rich with this tactic or defeat the casino, however you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is centered on the fact that 21 appears to be a game of streaks. When you’re on fire your on fire, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I bet with basic strategy blackjack. When I lose I bet the table minimum on the next hand. If I don’t win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. Once I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I return the action back down to the original amount.
I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets extremely fun sometimes. If you win a few hands in series your bets go up very quick. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome runs a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Venetian a couple of years back with $750 after 35 minutes using this tactic! And a number of months ago in Macau I left a game with $1200!
You must understand that you can give away a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be astonished at the streaks you see betting this way. Here is a guide of what you would wager if you kept winning at a $5 table.
Bet 5 dollar
Take $5 paid to you, leave the original $5 wager
Wager $5
Leave $5 paid to you for a total wager of ten dollar
Wager 10 dollar
Take ten dollar paid-out to you, leave the original ten dollar bet
Wager ten dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of twenty dollar
Bet twenty dollar
Take twenty dollar paid to you, leave the initial twenty dollar wager
Bet $20
Leave twenty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 40 dollar
Wager $40
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the initial $40 bet
Wager 40 dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 80 dollar
Bet $80
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the initial 80 dollar bet
Wager 80 dollar
Leave $80 paid to you for a total wager of $160
Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take $160 paid to you, leave the initial 160 dollar wager
If you left at this moment you would be up $315 !!
It’s iffy to go on a run this long, but it does happen. And when it does you mustn’t alter and drop your bet or the final result won’t be the same.
