I have gambled on countless of rounds of chemin de fer. I began sneaking into the gambling dens when I was 16. I have enjoyed online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. With all that said I have still lost an abundance of funds at 21. The casinos have made it nearly impossible to beat the house.
I still enjoy the game and play on a regular basis. Over the years I have gambled on a type of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won’t get rich with this tactic or defeat the casino, still you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is based on the fact that 21 appears to be a game of runs. When you’re hot your hot, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I gamble with basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I lose I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I do not win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. Once I win I take the payout paid to me and I bet the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the bet back down to the original amount.
I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets extremely exciting sometimes. If you win a few hands in sequence your bets go up very quick. Before you know it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had great streaks a few times now. I left a $5 table at the Wynn a couple of years back with $750 after 30 minutes using this method! And a few weeks ago in Macau I left a game with $1200!
You need to understand that you can give away a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be aghast at the streaks you see wagering this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a five dollar game.
Bet five dollar
Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the original 5 dollar bet
Wager five dollar
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total wager of 10 dollar
Wager ten dollar
Take 10 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 10 dollar wager
Wager ten dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total bet of 20 dollar
Wager twenty dollar
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial twenty dollar bet
Bet $20
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total wager of 40 dollar
Wager 40 dollar
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 40 dollar wager
Wager forty dollar
Leave $40 paid-out to you for a total bet of $80
Wager eighty dollar
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the original eighty dollar bet
Bet eighty dollar
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total bet of 160 dollar
Bet 160 dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 160 dollar bet
If you departed at this moment you would be up 315 dollar !!
It is iffy to go on a run this long, but it can happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and lower your bet or the end result will not be the same.
