I have wagered on countless of rounds of chemin de fer. I started sneaking into the gambling dens when I was still underage. I have gambled on online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. Given all that I have still lost a lot of bankroll at 21. The gambling halls have made it almost impossible to defeat the house.

I still enjoy the game and wager on a regular basis. Over the years I have played a type of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get rich with this method or defeat the house, however you will have an abundance of fun. This tactic is built on the fact that blackjack appears to be a game of streaks. When you are on fire your hot, and when you are not you are NOT!

I wager with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I lose I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I lose again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand again etc. Once I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I return the wager back down to the original amount.

I am very strict and do not back out. It gets very fun sometimes. If you win a few hands in a row your bets go up very fast. Before you know it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic streaks a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the Palms a few years back with $750 after 45 mins using this technique! And a couple of weeks ago in Las Vegas I left a table with $1200!

You need to comprehend that you can squander a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be surprised at the streaks you notice wagering this way. Below is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a $5 game.

Bet 5 dollar
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the first 5 dollar bet

Wager five dollar
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total wager of ten dollar

Bet $10
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the original ten dollar wager

Wager 10 dollar
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of twenty dollar

Bet $20
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 20 dollar wager

Wager 20 dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total wager of forty dollar

Wager forty dollar
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the first $40 wager

Wager forty dollar
Leave $40 paid-out to you for a total wager of 80 dollar

Wager eighty dollar
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the initial $80 bet

Wager eighty dollar
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total wager of $160

Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the original $160 bet

If you departed at this moment you would be up 315 dollar !!

It is hard to go on a streak this long, but it can happen. And when it does you can’t alter and drop your bet or the final result will not be the same.
